PopCon is here to deliver all your nerdy desires!
Pop culture conventions are one of the best ways for fans to meet up and nerd out about all their favorite series and hobbies while being surrounded by some like minded people. As nerd culture rises in popularity, it seems like there is a new con popping up every year or so. However, few of these events can match the energy or joy that can be found at PopCon Louisville.
Now, just like any major Can, PopCon will have a variety of things for the nerdy fan to interact with. However, one of the biggest draws to these events is always the guest panels and celebrity photo ops. This year, PopCon will have 50 different guests for fans to gush over.
Fans will be able to see Actors such as Anson Mount from Stark Trek: Strange New Worlds or voice actors like Jamie Marchi from Borderlands. Just as with any Con, there will be YouTubers and Cosplayers such as Peter Prankster and PerlerTricks. This weekend is so jammed packed with talent that the Con is even providing 6 different magicians for guest interaction for the weekend.

As is expected at these kinds of events, there will be a celebrity panel as well as a fan panel where people can gain greater insight into their favorite pieces of media. Some of these panels even allow you to ask your favorite creators those chaotic questions that have been keeping you up at night.
One thing you simply cannot miss is the Ultimate Cosplay Championship. Not only does the Con showcase some of the best Cosplay in the area, but it is also broken down into tiers so everyone can get in on the fun. The Ultimate Cosplay Championship is broken down into 5 tiers for judgment. These tiers include Novice, Beginner, Journeyman, Professional, and Master.
On top of that, PopCon Louisville will also offer magic shows, a Squid Games inspired event titled Secret Games, as well as a gaming hall for fans to spend their time in. For those art fans out there, the Con will also feature a sketch scrimmage, PopCon stamp Rally, and one of a kind PopCon trading cards made especially for the event. If that isn't enough for you, why not wear yourself out at the Cabin of the Crackling Man Escape Room?
This is all to say that PopCon Louisville is filled to the brim with activities that will keep any nerd occupied for hours on in. Now for the most important aspect of all, how much does it cost? PopCon Louisville has several options so that even a nerd on a budget can attend. A standard weekend pass will run you $60 while the VIP weekend pass is $175. For those seeking a one day pass, Friday and Sunday admission is $30 while Saturday will run you $40.
For those wanting to stay close to the action, the Galt House is the official hotel of the event and is located at 140 N 4th St, Louisville, Kentucky. The event itself will be located at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville Kentucky at 221 4th St.
