The Lexington Comic & Toy Convention is nearly upon us and pop culture fans should be excited. Not only is this one of the best conventions this side of the United States but this year looks better than ever. This year’s event has almost too much to do. Fans will be spending their time at Q&As, getting autographs buying merch, and defeating their rivals in the gaming championships.

First, let's take a look at the main reason people attend these events, the guest list. The Lexington Comic & Toy Convention has a huge line up of stars scheduled this year with over 60 of your favorite media professionals scheduled to arrive. Not only that but they have also attracted over 40 comic book creators to the events. If you are interested in meeting the people who bring your fantasies to life, this is not the event to miss.

However, even if that doesn’t interest you, Lexington Comic & Toy Convention has plenty for you to see and do. Why not head down Friday night and listen to Danny Trejo provide a Q&A session on what it was like to become a Hollywood badass? If anime is more your speed, you could head over and check out the Ultimate Dragon Ball Voice Acting panel with Dameon Clarke and Eric Vale. This should give you some keen insight into one of the most popular anime in the world.

If you are in the mood for something a little more upbeat, just head over to the Hardy Party at 8 p.m. This epic evening event will feature two of the most hardcore professional wrestlers to ever grace the screen, Matt and Jeff Hardy. What better way to end the night than listening to this iconic duo recant their time in the high stakes world of professional wrestling?

If you are the type of individual who comes to these events to learn the trick of the trade the Lexington Comic & Toy Convention has you covered with their Cosplay 101 class. This will teach you the basics of costume creation, wig styling, and even character performance. This class is intended for both beginners and moderates who wish to hone their skills even further.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a true convention if there wasn’t a cosplay contest. The Lexington Comic & Toy Convention doesn’t mess around when it comes to cosplay. The event will be judged by industry professionals and comes with over $1,000 in prize money for the lucky winners. Whether you are a cosplay master or just a fan of the arts, make sure to head down at 6 pm on Saturday and watch this amazing event unfold.

Tickets for this event are reasonably priced and come in a variety of options. For those seeking single day passes, they can be purchased for $39.99 (Sunday), $64.99 (Saturday), and $39.99 (Friday). Full weekend passes are set at $119.99. And the full four day weekend VIP tickets are available for $149.99. The event will be held at the Central Bank Center in Lexington Kentucky.

There are over 10,000 parking spaces located within a 10 minute walk of the convention. It is important to note that cash will not be an available payment option for parking. So make sure to bring a credit card. It is also recommended that you leave with time to spare as the traffic surrounding the arena will likely be hectic.
