The only thing scarier than this epic horror con...would be to miss it!
That’s right, everyone’s favorite spooky convention is coming back this spring and they are ready to rock out harder than ever before. As always, HorrorHound will feature some of the best talent in horror, amazing cosplay artists, and the best film festival has to offer. There is a lot to cover this year, so let’s jump right in.
First, let’s go over one of the most exciting things about HorrorHound, the celebrity guest list. Now, HorrorHound continues to add and remove guests based on availability right up until the day of the show, so this list may change by March 21st. Make sure to check here for the most current list of celebrities.
So far there are nearly 30 pieces of talent signed up to join this year’s horror convention and they are bringing some star power. We won't cover them all here but to give you a taste of the action, HorrorHound will feature guests such as Jane Levy, Lauren Lavera, David Howard Thornton, and the legendary Corey Taylor.

The second biggest attraction, and my personal favorite, is the annual HorrorHound Film Festival. This year has an amazing line up featuring 43 short and full length films. Some of the titles this year include Mr. Buzzkill, Vampire Zombies from Space, The Reckoning, and Unalived. The full list of films can be found here.
That doesn’t even get into the annual script competition. HorrorHound will feature nearly thirty scripts for horror enthusiasts to enjoy this year. The competition is fierce this year with projects such as Faith, After Hours, Adam is Evil, and What Happened in Story. The full list of scripts can be found here.
If film festivals and celebrity meet and greets aren’t your thing, you can always head over to the Q&A panels to learn more about your favorite films or the art of filmmaking. Genre fans can listen to their favorite creators discuss the industry at panels such as the Terrifier Q&A, The Evil Dead Q&A, or the Ti West Panel.
Fans who are more interested in learning about the craft should check out the many workshops that HorrorHound will host this year. Some of these include things like the Music and Horror Panel, the Costuming Workshop with Audrey Holcomb, or the Indie Filmmaker Q&A panel. The full list of events can be found here.
One of the coolest features of HorrorHound weekend will always be the cosplay artists. There is just something special about seeing people from all ages and backgrounds walking around as their favorite ghouls and goblins. This year's Horrors of Cosplay Contest will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 5 P.M. Make sure to grab a seat early as this is always a crowd pleasure.
Don’t forget to wind down each night with HorrorHound’s infamous after hours events. Friday night's event runs from 10 P.M. through 3 A.M. and is titled Scareoke After Hours. This all night entertainment session is always a crowd pleaser and is handled by Blue Sky Entertainment. On Saturday night make sure to check out the Night Terrors After Hours Concert. This event runs from 8 P.M. until midnight and is sure to be a devilishly good time.
