Throw on your favorite cosplay getup, and head out to Indiana during this premiere con event!

It's almost everyone’s favorite time of year again. The Indian Comic Convention is quickly approaching, and pop culture fans should be excited. This wonderful convention will be happening from March 22nd through the 24th at the Indiana Convention Center. The event doors will open at 12 pm Friday, and enthusiasts can enjoy the festivities until 5 pm Sunday.

For those who are unaware, The Indiana Comic Convention is one of the largest conventions in the region. The event is filled with cosplay artists, celebrity photo ops, and various activities to entertain guests over the weekend. There will even be an Easter Egg Hunt to keep in line with the holidays.

Speaking of celebrities, this year's convention will feature over 80 guests for fans to interact with. These will include Felicia Day, Timothy Omundson, George Takei, Lou Ferrigno, Steve Burns, Mark Pellenfrino, Charlie Cox, and Jamie Campbell Bower. This only scratches the service of the guest list but should provide you with some insight into the acting prowess that will be featured this weekend.

This is where the fun begins! - Anakin Skywalker

The Indiana Comic Convention will also feature prolific writers such as Timothy Zahn, Neo Edmund, Brian D. Anderson, Jack Campbell, E.K. Johnston, Dayton Ward, and the marvelous Troy Dennings. This event will also feature some of the best comic book artists in the world. Appearing this year will be Afua Richardson (Black Panther), Mark Bagley (Spider-Man), Jim Starlin (Avengers), D.G. Chichester (Batman), and Jamie Jameson (American Gods).

If celebrities aren’t your thing, The Indiana Comic Convention has a myriad of entertainment options to choose from. Saturday night attendees have the opportunity to attend the Honolulu Nights: Geeky Tiki Dance Party from 8 pm to 11 pm. This event will feature music by DJ Cruze CTRL, live Polynesian dancers, free leis, and a tropical costume contest.

The famous cosplay contest will be held on March 23rd at 6 pm with judges Orange-Go-Fish, Sakurashounen, and the wonderful Perlertricks. This event will be hosted by the fabulous CSSCP (Celeste). All the panels at the event are free for attendees to view.

If you are looking for something a little more high octane, why not check out the Derezzed VR room? This room features the best in modern VR entertainment and is sure to amuse guests of all ages. If you’re feeling really frisky, you can head over to the Haunted Hints Escape Room. This event promises to be the most immersive, spooky, and creative escape room you have ever been a part of. Join with a group and try to escape the puzzle before the killer catches up to you.

If you have ever had dreams of becoming a Jedi, the convention also features an Indy Lightsaber Academy Thunderdome. Here, fans can learn to wield a lightsaber like a true master of the force. If you're worn out after all of these activities, and who wouldn’t be, why not head down to the Icon Gaming Lounge? This area features a magnificent 100 inch gaming projector for fans to enjoy games such as Mortal Kombat and Dragon Ball Fighter Z.

Tickets to Indiana Comic Convention can be found here. Prices range from $35 for a single day pass all the way to $299 for the VIP weekend pass. The convention will be held at the Indian Convention Center.
