Get Ready to Geek Out at the 2024 Lexington Comic & Toy Convention

Toys and stars collide at this spectacular event.

Fans of all things nerdy should plan to head down to the Lexington Comic & Toy Convention from March 7th through the 10th. This one-of-a-kind experience will feature over 100 creators for fans to interact with. The expo will feature every kind of talent a fan could want. There's someone for everybody, from voice actors to comic book designers and artists, wrestlers, and some of the most iconic acting stars imaginable.

If celebrity interaction isn’t your thing, The Lexington Comic & Toy Convention has plenty of other activities to occupy your time. If board games are your thing, there will be a game room featuring board games, card games, and a variety of video games to enjoy. There is also a D&D for Beginners on Friday and Saturday for players to live out their epic fantasies.

A great toy is like a good book. It opens up an array of possibilities and lets the imagination soar.  - Mark Johnson, founder of Marble Genius

For the more active guests out there, Lexington Comic & Toy Convention will host a dance party with a live DJ each day. If this is your first Con, ShadowBright Creations will be hosting a Convention Survival Guide to show you the ropes for navigating this massive event.

Fans of Anime will be pumped to hear that Ray Coffman will be showing an LCTC-exclusive premiere of his new series Araura. This once-in-a-lifetime event will be held on March 8 from 7 PM to 7:45 PM in meeting rooms one and two. Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Kevin Nowlan, and Paul Pelletier will also be hosting an interactive sketch panel to answer questions while showing fans how to sketch their ideas.

Cosplay enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that there will be several cosplay lessons at the event. Cosplay 101 class will teach easy tips and tricks to the newly initiated cosplayers out there. You should head down to Cosplay 102: Advanced Cosplay event for more advanced techniques. Mary Stephens will also be hosting a Competing in Cosplay event.

Saturday night will offer a costume contest filled with the region's best talent. Pre-judging will be from 5 PM to 6 PM, with the actual event going from 6 PM to 8 PM. Sunday will offer a Feeback Panel for the costume contest from 3 PM to 3:45 PM. The costume contest always draws a big crowd, so make sure to get there early.

Hazbin Hotel may be the biggest animated show making the rounds at the moment, but it is important to remember that its sister show, Helluva Boss, has been keeping fans entertained for the four years between its pilot and premier. If you want to pay your respects and meet some of the talent behind Helluva Boss at meeting rooms 3,4, and 5 from 2 PM to 2:45 PM on Sunday.

If you are concerned that this event may conflict with your spiritual Sunday practices, The Lexington Comic & Toy Convention will offer its own services, Geek Church. This geek-themed Sunday service is open to people of all, regardless of faith. The event will be hosted by Hector Miray of Faith and Fandom as well as Todd Turner of Mosaic Fan Art.

Tickets for this event are reasonably priced but are selling out fast. The VIP and weekend packages range from $90 to $150, while the single day tickets range between $20 and $60. This event will be held at The Central Bank Center of Lexington, Kentucky. The address for this center is 430 W Vine St, Lexington, Kentucky.
