B-WING Heavy Assault Starfighter
Slow but it carries a lethal payload. Excellent modelling and detailing here on Derelict's version.

Description:
Here I am again with a new project... I give you my humble attempt on the B-wing starfighter! Yes, you heard me. B-wing! although I said in my Gunship thread I would try to make the Nebulon-B crusier

Anway, I was really inspired by JDR's Y-wing w.i.p thread (So I guess it's his fault I scrapped the Nebulon-B plans) and figured that I could try make a very super-duper detailed B-wing to kinda make the Rebellion 3dmodel Fleet complete (although there are some really coool B-wing models out there) ...

Description:
I have started on the engine section and i'm going to work my way from there.

I'm trying to make it as accuraty as possibly on the overall shape and I have so far, except for some of the details wich I just made out of my own head and added to places where it looks cool.

I'm actually gonna try to get it right the first time now (Although I know there's some segmentation, I didnt realize I hade forgotten to add the smooth modifier untill I was uploading the images

Update 4

Description:
Updates. Not much, just some detailing...
I'm not sure about the openings in the wing though. On some reference pictures there where nav-lights on the wing, but somehow I made it look like some kind of weapon Think i'm gonna have to re-do that part.

I guess my destructive side kicked in as always

Description:
I started work on the interior and I think it's about done. This is the first time I do stuff that should be comfortable and too some use. Though, i'm kinda happy with the result and think that I will leave it as it is, might add some extra gadgets later on.

Update 14

Description:
I've re-made the wing between the cockpit and engine. The cockpit is now much closer to the engine and the wing looks alot more like the wing on the studio model.

Update 20

Description:
At this point I don't really know what more to do on my B-wing, only thing I can think of is to add some more details to the cockpit pod. It looks alittle plain. So if you guys don't see anything more I could do I think it's pretty much done, except for textures of course.
